The anime ends, but Jinwoo's story runs to 179 chapters and beyond. This is India's first complete Solo Leveling manhwa guide: every legal platform, the chapter question answered two ways, the Tapas shutdown deadline, and the Ragnarok sequel — with the disputes shown, not smoothed over.

Main story: 179 chapters + side story chapters 180–200 (finished).
Legal English home: Tappytoon (licensed, D&C) — app + web. India pricing: TBA (no INR price list found — check the series page before paying).
Tapas shuts down 31 Mar 2027 — Ink sales already stopped 1 Oct 2026; unlocks do NOT transfer. If you bought there, migrate before March.
After anime Season 2: start chapter 111 (direct continuation) or chapter 108 (completist — catches trimmed scenes).
Print: Yen Press English volumes 1–13 (main) + 14–15 (side stories); India availability via importers TBA.
Ragnarok sequel: Season 3 return with a new artist, date TBA; English weeks/months after Korean.
Sung Jinwoo — the world's weakest hunter, chosen by a mysterious System — levels from cannon fodder to the Shadow Monarch across one of the most-read manhwa ever. The manhwa (the full-colour comic) is a different thing from the web novel (the original text): this guide's chapter numbers are manhwa chapters unless stated otherwise.
| Platform | What you get | Cost model | India note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tappytoon | Full manhwa 1–200, licensed English (D&C); series page showed 35M views (Oct 2026) | Per-chapter purchase / platform currency | App + web, works globally including India. INR price list NOT found — TBA. Check the series page before paying. |
| Tapas | Full run — until shutdown | Ink (sales stopped 1 Oct 2026) | Ends 31 Mar 2027, 23:59 PT. Unlocks die, no transfer, no refunds (Tapas FAQ). |
| Yen Press print | Volumes 1–13 (main) + 14–15 (side stories) | Buy per volume | India availability via importers/bookstores TBA — check before ordering. |
| WEBTOON | — | — | NOT the manhwa's English home (chapterbrief) — do not look for it here. |
| KakaoPage | Korean original | — | Korean only, not the English read. |
Tappytoon pricing honesty: this guide searched for an India-specific price and found none published. Any guide quoting you an INR price for Tappytoon chapters invented it. Tappytoon sells chapters in its own platform currency; open the Solo Leveling series page, check the "About series" label (Completed vs ongoing), and confirm the cost before paying anything.
Season 1 of the anime ends at manhwa chapter 45. Season 2 (Arise from the Shadow) ends at manhwa chapter 110, closing the Jeju Island arc. Here is the mapping — and the famous 108-vs-111 question, answered properly:
| Anime | Ends at | Start reading at |
|---|---|---|
| Season 1 | Manhwa chapter 45 | Chapter 46 |
| Season 2 | Manhwa chapter 110 (Jeju Island arc ends) | Chapter 111 — direct continuation (Ahjin Guild arc) |
| Season 2, completist option | — | Chapter 108 — catches Recruitment-arc introductions the anime trimmed |
108 vs 111 is not a contradiction — it is two recommendations. Chapter 111 is where the story continues. Chapter 108 is where the trimmed scenes live: the anime streamlines the aftermath of the Jeju raid for pacing, cutting some Recruitment-arc introductions (chapters 108–110). If you want zero gaps, start at 108; if you want to continue directly, start at 111. Multiple sources (mangashed, animenewshub, Final Weapon) agree on this shape — the guides that quote only one number without explaining the other are the ones to distrust.
The road after Season 2: Recruitment Arc (108–110) → Ahjin Guild Arc (111–122) → Double Dungeon Return Arc (123–131) → Japan Crisis Arc (132–149) → Monarchs War Arc (150–179) → side stories (180–200). Arc ranges: Reported (animenewshub, October 2026; arc tables). The main story ended 29 Dec 2021 with chapter 179; the side story ran January–May 2023 with a new art team (DISCIPLES) after original artist DUBU's death in July 2022. Webnovel chapter numbers run differently from manhwa numbers — if you switch to the novel, use a novel-specific guide; this page's numbers are manhwa chapters.
Kakao Entertainment announced the wind-down of Tapas in September 2026. The facts, all Confirmed (Tapas FAQ, Kakao announcement, October 2026 coverage):
Ragnarok is a sequel series, not part of the 179-chapter count — do not let any guide fold it into the main story. It follows Sung Suho, Jinwoo's son. What is known, all Reported: Seasons 1–2 adapted roughly 70 novel chapters; Season 2 ended at chapter 68 (January 2026); chapter 69 arrived 12 August 2026; Season 3 returns with a new artist, date TBA, with the English release weeks or months after Korean; Season 3 is NOT the final season; the Season 2 finale ends on an Ammut cliffhanger. One honest wrinkle: whether chapter 69 belongs to Season 2's tail or Season 3's start is unclear in current reporting — this page tracks Ragnarok separately and will correct on the Season 3 date announcement. For now: finish the main story (1–200) first, then start Ragnarok from its beginning.

On Tappytoon (licensed English, app + web) — the primary legal home. Tapas works until its 31 Mar 2027 shutdown. Yen Press print volumes are the permanent option. Solo Leveling's manhwa is NOT on WEBTOON in English.
Chapter 111 for a direct continuation (Ahjin Guild arc). Chapter 108 if you want the Recruitment-arc scenes the anime trimmed. Season 1 ended at chapter 45 → start chapter 46.
Yes — Confirmed. Tapas ends 31 March 2027 at 23:59 PT; Ink sales stopped 1 Oct 2026; unlocks do not transfer and are non-refundable. Migrate to Tappytoon or print before March 2027.
The main story is complete: 179 chapters + side stories 180–200. The sequel, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, is ongoing — its Season 3 return has a new artist and no date yet.
The sequel series following Sung Suho, Jinwoo's son. Seasons 1–2 adapted roughly 70 novel chapters; Season 3 returns with a new artist (date TBA), and English will lag the Korean release by weeks or months.
No — the manhwa's licensed English homes are Tappytoon and (until March 2027) Tapas, not WEBTOON. WEBTOON hosts other manhwa, but not this one in English.
